Born in Lisbon in 1989. He lived in the United States and in Spain, in Mallorca and Barcelona, where he studied at the prestigious Taller de Musics school. During that period he composed his own songs, created several projects and discovered his musical identity. In 2016, he released his first solo album, Excuse Me. In 2017, he participated in the Song Festival, where he performs the song Amar pelos Dois, written by Luísa Sobral, which would make him win the Eurovision Song Contest that same year, with the highest score in history. Since then he has been distinguished with several awards and mentions and acclaimed by the national and international press. In March 2019 he released his second album, Paris, Lisbon, which took him on an extensive tour throughout Europe. Alongside his solo work, he has developed numerous projects that extend to other musical universes and from different backgrounds: Noko Woi, Alexandre Search, Mutrama, Alma Nuestra, Quinta das Canções and, most recently, Salvador Sobral sings Brel. bpm will be his third studio record. Recorded in January 2021 at Le Manoir de Léon studios, in the south of France, and entirely composed by Salvador with his friend Leo Aldrey, who is also responsible for the production of the album, bpm will be his third studio album.
